Friday 16 January 2015

Last year on the 14th of January 2014 Senior Infants in Mrs. Curtin's class made a time capsule. Everybody put something special into it, along with some photos. They also wrote about themselves, telling how old they were, what they liked to eat, who their friends were, what their favourite toys were, what they liked to read and watch on TV. Then they sealed the box and put it up on a high cupboard.

Yesterday, on the 15th January 2015, all the children came back to visit Mrs. Curtin in her classroom and we opened the time capsule. It was so much fun. The children loved getting their toys back, everyone remembered what they had put it. There was lots of laughter as they read what they had written about themselves. They felt so grown up now. Happy memories....

This is my friend Leon. He was very excited as we opened the time capsule on his birthday. Now he is 7 years old.
